Faith-based Depression Support. Offering information, education, support, and spiritual hope to those affected by depression - as well as their families.

Major depression is a medical illness that now affects more than 23 million adults each year. Depression affects our thoughts, feeling, mood, behavior, and physical health. Although devastating at times, depression is highly treatable.

Depression Coalition will start on August 9 at 7:00 pm at Mary Mother of the Church, located at 3333 Cliff Road, Bursnvielle (please park in the lower lot and enter the church there). Click here to fiew flyer or contact Pat Williams at 651-683-9808 ext. 22 for more infromation.

Growing Through Loss 

Growing Through Loss (GTL) provides support for adults who have experienced loss, information about the grieving process, caring and support from others who are also grieving and sharing of memories and feelings in a confidential setting. 

GTL supports loss of spouse, child, parent, other loved ones, loss through suicide, life transitions such as the loss of job, health, relationships or mid-life changes, multiple losses and provides small group and one-on-one support.

GTL is sponsored jointly by The Interdenominational South Suburban Grief Support Coalition, a coalition of 13 churches in the south suburban Minneapolis-St. Paul area.  

New member churches are always welcome.

Augustana Lutheran Church will host the Fall Series on Thursday evenings - September 15, 22, 29 and October 6. Augustana il located at 1400 South Robert Street in West St. Paul. Registration is at :30 pm' speaker at 7:00 pm, support groups 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Suggested donation $3, all proceeds go to support the Growing Through Loss Ministry.

Youth Grief Services

We invite families to participate in a 7 week free grief support group series for children and teens ages 4 - 18 who have had a loved-one die, along with support for the parents/caregivers.  CLICK HERE to view brochure.

Alcoholics Anonymous

AA is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem.  Membership is open to anyone who wants to stop drinking. This group meets on Tuesday evenings at St. Thomas Becket from 7:00 p.m.—9:00 p.m. at the library.


Support for friends and family members of a problem drinker. Group meets at St. Thomas Becket on Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m.—8:00 p.m. at room 102.
